Job summary

Water Resources Group in North Dakota is seeking a skilled Millwright for field operations across the Upper Midwest region. You will install, align, and maintain industrial machinery on construction sites, following blueprints and manufacturer specs.

Ideal candidates have a High school diploma and 2–4 years of millwright experience; apprenticeship preferred. Expect rigorous safety standards, teamwork with foremen and trades, and competitive compensation with per diem for travel between regional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; millwright apprenticeship or trade school preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years of millwright experience in industrial, mechanical, or heavy civil construction.
• Experience with water or wastewater plant equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, and level equipment per blueprints and specifications.
• Perform precision alignment using laser tools and dial indicators.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Rig and move heavy equipment safely with cranes and rigging.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Fabricate and fit metal parts, including cutting, drilling, welding.
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to sequence work.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area per OSHA standards.
