Job summary

West Fraser in Dudley, GA is seeking a seasoned Millwright Level 2 to maintain industrial machinery, conveyors, and machine centers. This is not entry level and requires a minimum of five years' experience in a production setting.

Responsibilities include repairing equipment, reading drawings, aligning machines, assembling and installing components, and performing preventive maintenance. Overtime and on-call work may be required; safety is a top priority.

Qualifications

• Must have cutting torch experience.
• Must have welding experience (GMAW and SMAW).
• Must be safety oriented and comply with company policies.
• Willing to work overtime and be on-call to support operations.
• Five years of Millwright experience in an Industrial/Manufacturing environment or an Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance.
• Must complete pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain industrial equipment including conveyors, debarkers, canters, gang saws, and edgers.
• Read and understand drawings and printed instructions.
• Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, and precision instruments.
• Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools.
• Dismantle machines and replace defective parts; adjust clearances and alignment.
