Job summary

The Bergaila Companies are seeking an experienced Millwright III for a 12+ month project in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. The role follows a 14 days on / 14 days off schedule with 12-hour shifts and pays $39.00–$45.00 per hour. Openings: 2–3.

Responsibilities include installing, inspecting, aligning, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment in a demanding power-generation setting. Must-Have includes 5+ years of experience, ability to read blueprints and safety docs, a valid driver's license, and

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a millwright or equivalent.
• Ability to read safety procedures, blueprints, P&IDs, and work permits.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry heavy loads; work in extreme conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install stationary machinery and equipment per layout plans.
• Inspect equipment to identify irregularities and issues.
• Adjust machinery and replace defective parts.
• Operate machine tools to fabricate parts for overhauls and maintenance.
• Align equipment and verify safety devices after repairs and installations.
• Participate in preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and document maintenance.
