Job summary

The Bergaila Companies seeks experienced Millwrights for a long-term contract in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. You will maintain and repair critical industrial equipment in a demanding power-generation environment, operating on a 14/14 rotation in challenging conditions.

Ideal candidates are mechanically skilled, safety-focused, and prepared for break-in periods, hikes, and extended shifts in extreme weather. Prior experience with gas turbines, pumps, and compressors is valued.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a millwright.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity with tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand safety and work procedures, blueprints, P&IDs, work permits, and technical manuals.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel).
• Ability to prioritize and respond to multiple tasks in potentially stressful or hazardous conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, manually transport loads up to 75 pounds, and apply up to 100 foot-pounds of torque.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, at various heights, and in temperature extremes while wearing required safety and protective equipment.
