Job summary

PADNOS is seeking a Millwright II to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery. You will interpret blueprints and schematics, develop procedures for new jobs, and mentor junior millwrights.

Travel up to 30% may be required as part of project work and safety initiatives. Responsibilities include diagnosing failures, performing advanced mechanical/electrical repairs, collaborating with engineering, and documenting maintenance procedures for permanent records.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of machine repair experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and basic control systems.
• Proven ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Install machinery and equipment according to blueprints and drawings.
• Diagnose equipment failures and execute repairs to restore functionality.
• Perform advanced mechanical and electrical repairs on production equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure proper operation.
• Develop and document procedures for new jobs and maintenance.
• Train and mentor Millwright I employees and assist onboarding.
• May act as stand-in lead on specific projects and communicate with maintenance leadership.
• Support safety investigations and identify corrective actions.
• Use maintenance systems to enter work orders and track parts.
• Ensure minimal downtime through proactive maintenance and problem-solving.
