Job summary

Branscome is seeking a Millwright - Manufacturing for our Virginia asphalt plants. You will install, maintain and repair heavy industrial equipment used in our production processes, ensuring minimal downtime and safe operation.

Responsibilities include dismantling and re-assembling machinery, installing shafting and conveyors, and selecting appropriate tools and techniques. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required, with at least 3 years of millwright experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Millwright or similar job preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, belt systems, motors, and other industrial machine mechanisms.
• Reading blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, repair and re-assemble heavy industrial machinery.
• Install equipment such as shafting and conveyors.
• Work with measuring tools including welding and brazing equipment.
• Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs.
• Perform all other duties deemed necessary or assigned.
