Job summary

CMC is seeking a maintenance-oriented team member to support various facilities across our recycling centers, fabrication plants, and manufacturing sites. You will assist maintenance staff, communicate issues, and help ensure safe, efficient operations while upholding CMC safety culture.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and are comfortable with rotating shifts, overtime, and physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented, fast-paced environment with attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Physical ability to work in conditions with extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust, and noise.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Rotating shift work including weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer skills and dependability in attendance.
• Willingness to learn quickly and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance personnel when requested/needed.
• Communicate production issues, concerns, and needs clearly.
• Ensure equipment inspection reports are completed each shift.
• Perform daily housekeeping and keep the work area organized.
• Follow safety rules and PPE requirements; participate in safety programs.
• Troubleshoot work-related problems using knowledge and teamwork.
• Support continuous improvement in methods and procedures.
• Understand startup, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
