Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to design and develop military products ensuring safe and protected communication. You will interface with multi-discipline teams to deliver total system solutions across domestic and international customers.

You will lead analyses, architecture, and design across the full lifecycle, from concept through disposal, while supporting verification plans and program management interactions. Global travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain DoD clearance.
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience or advanced degree with 5+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, architect, and design system components from concept to disposal.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Provide decomposition and verification criteria for system requirements.
• Plan and manage system integration, verification, and risk analyses.
• Lead bid and proposal efforts; travel up to 10%.
