Qualifications

  • Experience as a senior project manager or technical expert on large-scale military construction projects across multiple disciplines.
  • Knowledge of management concepts and project management principles covering master planning through construction, cost control, and operations.
  • Supervisory experience including assigning work, evaluating performance, and applying Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) principles.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Chief of Military Programs and Project Management Branch, overseeing vertical and horizontal integration for military projects.
  • Manage all aspects of military programs and project management: scope, budgets, schedules, procurement strategies.
  • Establish and monitor district objectives to meet military program goals and control schedule and costs.
  • Plan and assign work, set schedules, evaluate performance, advise on administrative matters, and identify training needs.
  • Manage the district's military reimbursable program to ensure funded projects align with objectives and have adequate contract capacity.
  • Ensure customer expectations and Corps performance potentials are aligned by identifying options and applying quality design and construction techniques.
