Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Deer Valley, Arizona, seeks a senior systems engineer to lead a cross-functional team in developing complex Military Avionics solutions for domestic and international customers.

The role covers lifecycle ownership from business development through product end of life, with responsibility for requirements, validation, verification, and system integration across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical field.
• 10+ years’ experience working on Avionics products particularly Flight Management Systems (FMS), Flight Controls Systems (AFCS), or CMF.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a diverse team for technical execution and risk management for platforms served by the Military Avionics Center of Excellence.
• Develop Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).
• Perform flow-down requirement analysis, feasibility, and technical solution development including test strategy and architecture development.
