Job summary

WEBCO MFG is seeking a Senior MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our Weld Team for weekend shifts (Fri-Sun, 9am–9:30pm). This role focuses on producing high quality welds that meet customer specifications with precision and efficiency.

Candidates should have 3+ years MIG welding/fabrication experience, read blueprints and welding symbols, and be comfortable with flat, horizontal, and vertical uphill welds on mild, stainless, and galvannealed steel.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality welds efficiently.
• Determine welding method to meet blueprint specifications when not stated.
• Perform first piece check and submit for QA inspection.
• Maintain records on production to ensure correct part counts.
• Organize work to match complexity, method, and timelines for orders.
• Other responsibilities as required.

Job duties:

• Produce high quality welds efficiently.
• Ensure materials meet customer specifications by determining the welding method to be used if it is not stated on the blueprint.
• Ensure parts are welded correctly by performing the first piece check and submitting it to quality assurance for inspection prior to completing the entire job.
• Ensure production of the correct number of parts by maintaining records on production
• Ensure efficient and timely processing of various job orders by organizing work to be performed according to complexity, method used, anticipated completion time, etc.
• Other responsibilities as required.
