Job summary

HF Sinclair Midstream is seeking a Project Engineer to lead engineering, design, construction, and modification of crude and refined product pipelines and terminal facilities. Location options include Dallas, Denver, Salt Lake City, Casper, Artesia, or Tulsa.

Responsibilities span from concept through turnover with strong leadership of multi-disciplinary teams. The role requires a minimum of eight years in pipelines/terminals or petrochemical facilities and a Bachelor's Degree in engineering.

Qualifications

• Technical expert in area of specialty.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft products and engineering concepts.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Apply ASME B31.3, B31.4, 49 CFR 195, HFSM & API standards to pipelines and terminals.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and supporting technical documentation.
• Produce and review engineering drawings, calculations, and equipment specifications.
• Integrate instrumentation, controls, SCADA, leak-detection systems, and operational data.
• Produce high-quality engineered project budgets for projects from under $100,000 to over $10,000,000.
• Work within stage-gate AFE process and manage deliverables for each gate.
• Deliver projects from concept through design, construction, commissioning, turnover.
• Manage EPC firms, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Author and administer contracts, including change management and deliverable alignment.
• Support PHA/HAZOP, MOC, incident investigations, and PSSR.
• Perform field site investigations and troubleshoot process issues.
