Job summary

HF Sinclair Midstream seeks a Project Engineer to lead engineering, design, construction, and modification of crude and refined product pipelines and terminal facilities. You will provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations.

The role requires a minimum of eight years in pipelines, terminals, or petrochemical facilities and a Bachelor's degree in engineering. Preferred PE registration and refinery experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years of progressive experience in pipelines, terminals, pipeline stations, or petrochemical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and standards.
• Familiarity with industry standards and practices; ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, design, construction, and modification of crude and refined product pipelines and terminal facilities.
• Provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations.
• Apply ASME B31.3, B31.4, 49 CFR 195, HFSM & API standards to facilities.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and supporting technical documentation.
• Produce engineered project budget estimates ranging from under $100,000 to over $10,000,000 with cost modeling and contingency development.
• Manage stage-gate AFE processes and deliverables for each gate.
