Job summary

BNY is seeking a Specialist, Middle Office Representative II in Boston, MA to lead the day-to-day operations of a Middle Office support team, providing direction and technical guidance on complex matters. This role supports multiple funds and helps resolve escalated issues in accounting and reporting cycles.

You will supervise fund data and trades, maintain records, and establish data maintenance processes to boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Mutual fund industry background is preferred.
• 3-5 years of total work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of a Middle Office support team, providing work direction.
• Lead daily activities of a Middle Office support team servicing multiple funds and assist with escalated problems in accounting/reporting.
• Supervise tracking of fund data and trades, maintain records, and improve data maintenance processes.
• Identify fail points in processes, report errors to clients per SLAs, and support process improvements to reduce audit/financial exposure.
