Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Specialist, Middle Office Representative II in Boston, MA, to lead daily operations of the Integrated Middle Office Solutions team. The role involves guiding a team servicing multiple funds, resolving escalated accounting questions, and ensuring data accuracy across trades and records.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), 3–5 years of experience, and a background in mutual funds.

Qualifications

High school/secondary school or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Bachelor's degree is a plus.
Mutual fund industry background is preferred.
3-5 years of total work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as a lead for the day-to-day operations of a Middle Office support team, providing work direction and technical assistance on complex matters.
Lead daily activities of a Middle Office support team servicing multiple funds and assist in resolving escalated problems during daily, weekly, or monthly accounting and reporting.
Supervise the tracking of fund data and trades, maintenance of records, and establish data maintenance and summarization processes to improve team efficiency.
Search for fail points in processes, provide error reports to clients in compliance with service level agreements, and assist in implementing process improvements to reduce audit and financial exposure.
