Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM, seeks an experienced RF Communication and Radar Engineer within the Space Mission Engineering Program Office. You will advance radar and RF technologies for space missions, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet challenging national security needs.

Based onsite, you will develop and integrate innovative technologies, mentor junior staff, and occasionally travel to partner sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of directly relevant experience or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q with SCI security clearance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and develop radar systems and modules.
• Develop RF technologies for new mission capabilities.
• Work with customers, partners, and mentors; support staff growth.
• Occasionally travel to engage partners.
• Define performance requirements and provide documentation.
