Job summary

Business Network Consulting - BNC is seeking a senior IT consultant to design and manage SMB technology stacks, primarily Microsoft-based, for Denver-area clients. You will own environments, guide decisions, propose and execute projects, and drive growth while acting as an outward, trusted advisor.

The role requires hands-on experience across cloud, virtualization, security, and network optimization, with strong client-facing and leadership capabilities. Ongoing growth and benefits await.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of consulting experience in SMB tech environments.
• 5+ years in senior engineer roles.
• Extensive Microsoft technologies exposure: Office 365, Exchange, Azure, Entra, Intune.
• Advanced virtualization experience, preferably VMware.
• Network design and optimization with enterprise switches/firewalls/routers.
• Cloud platform experience: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud.
• Security, DR/BC design and build-out, migrations and modernization.
• Pre- and post-sales experience and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Project management – craft timelines, deliverables, and client communications.
• Be consultative – propose improvements and guide implementation with clients.
• Serve as the main IT resource for assigned Denver-area clients.
• Provide clear, sound advice and act as a trusted partner to the business.
• Support servers, networks, desktops, and laptops on-site and remotely.
• Design, implement and manage new installations and migrations.
• Manage system/network issues to resolution in a professional manner.
• Lead by example and mentor other members of the BNC team.
• Assist with onboarding new engineers to the team.
