Motion Recruitment Partners is seeking a Senior Microsoft Systems & Cloud Engineer to manage and modernize a hybrid Microsoft infrastructure in the Winchester, VA area. This hands-on role focuses on supporting on-premises Windows environments, Hyper-V virtualization, and migrating legacy workloads to Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will have strong Windows Server and Hyper-V experience, expertise in Azure, Active Directory/Entra ID in hybrid setups, and a proven ability to independently

Qualifications

• Strong Windows Server administration and infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience managing Hyper-V hosts, VMs, and clusters.
• Experience with on-premises server infrastructure.
• Hands-on Microsoft Azure infrastructure experience.
• Experience with Active Directory and Entra ID in hybrid environments.
• Experience migrating on-prem workloads to Azure.
• Experience with server patching and complex infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Ability to independently manage infrastructure projects and provide senior-level support.
