Job summary

Pacers Sports & Entertainment in Indianapolis seeks a Senior Microsoft Service Engineer to own and advance the Microsoft-based technology stack, including Defender, Entra ID, Purview, Intune and 365 services. Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring and administering Microsoft 365 (E3/E5), Defender, Purview, and Entra ID
• Proven track record leading security operations, incident response, or a cybersecurity program in a Microsoft cloud environment
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., SC-200, SC-300, MS-102) preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to present security posture to leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead PS&E’s cybersecurity strategy and day-to-day security operations within the Microsoft environment
• Configure and manage security using Defender suite and Purview, including DLP, transport rules, and identity protection
• Manage endpoints with Defender for Endpoint and ensure patching and vulnerability response
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Exchange configurations; support collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Mentor junior team members in Microsoft administration and security best practices
• Support onsite IT operations and field events as needed
