Job summary

Rose International is seeking an experienced Senior Power Platform Developer for an on-site role in Mechanicsville, VA. You will design, implement, and optimize Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages, with Dataverse integration.

Expect leadership in discovery sessions and governance planning, plus hands-on development and deployments across client environments. The ideal candidate has 8+ years IT experience, 5+ years with Power Platform, and strong .NET/JavaScript/C# skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and configure Power Apps/Power Automate (Canvas and Model-driven Apps).
• Create Power Pages for external and internal websites.
• Demonstrate Power Platform customization, configuration, development, deployment, and usage.
• Lead discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
• Understand business challenges and map solutions using Power Platform.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot Power Platform issues and document solutions with IT teams.
• Create design solutions and documentation for common use cases.
• Develop and disseminate documentation on platform usage.
• Prepare mockups/prototypes and leverage Power Platform features to meet business needs.
• Adhere to governance and best practices for platform use at the client.
• Participate in Agile SDLC.

Required Certifications

• PowerApps Professional or PowerApps Developer

Required Skills

• Experience with Power Platform and Dataverse (5 Years)
• Experience in designing, implementing and migrating solutions utilizing Power Platform, including all : Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate (Flow) (5 Years)
• Custom Development experience using .Net, JavaScript and C# (5 Years)
• Experience with DevOps in Power Platform Environments (2 Years)
• Total IT experience (8 Years)
• Experience with Data Integrations and Migrations using Azure Synapse/Azure Data Factory (3 Years)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio (1 Year)
• Experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, PowerShell Scripting and SPFx (5 Years)

About the Role: Client is looking for an experienced hands-on Power Platform developer. The ideal candidate will be skilled and experienced in Microsoft’s Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse. The successful candidate should have strong communication skills to be effective in both technical and business requirement discussions

Job Responsibilities

• Create and configure Power Apps\Power Automation (both Canvas and Model-driven Apps)

• Preferred Experience with DevOps in Power Platform (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator)
• Develop and disseminate documentation (requirements, recommendations, technical analysis, etc.) on platform usage
• Prepare mockups/prototypes based on requirements and use knowledge of Power Platform features/tools to offer solutions that meet business needs
• Adhere to best practices when implementing business solutions and define/refine a governance approach for the platform’s use at the client
• Participate in Agile SDLC
