Job summary

MasterApp Labs LLC in Mechanicsville, VA, seeks a Senior Microsoft Power Platform Developer for a hybrid contract role. You will design, configure, and deploy Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages, helping translate business needs into scalable Power Platform solutions.

Strong DevOps and Copilot Studio experience are highly valued. You will lead workshops, map use cases, and ensure governance while collaborating in an Agile SDLC.

Qualifications

• Experience with Power Platform, Dataverse, and configuration.
• Proficiency across Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate.
• Development using .NET, JavaScript and C#.
• DevOps in Power Platform environments.
• Experience with data integrations and migrations using Azure data tools.
• Copilot Studio experience is a plus.
• SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, PowerShell, SPFx skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and configure Power Apps and Power Automate (Canvas and Model-driven).
• Create and configure Power Pages for external/internal sites.
• Demonstrate customization, configuration, development and deployment of Power Platform.
• Lead discovery workshops and requirements sessions.
• Map business needs to Power Platform solutions and develop apps.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices.
• Troubleshoot Power Platform issues and document solutions.
• Create design solutions and documentation for use cases.
• Develop and disseminate platform usage documentation.
• Prepare mockups/prototypes from requirements and suggest solutions.
• Govern platform use and participate in Agile SDLC.

Title: Senior Microsoft Power Platform Developer

Location: Mechanicsville, VA, (Hybrid)

Position Type: Contract

Interview Mode: Both Web Cam and In Person Interview

Primary responsibilities include:

• Create and configure Power Apps\\Power Automation (both Canvas and Model-driven Apps)
• Create and configure Power Pages for external and internal websites.
• Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Power Platform customization, configuration, development, deployment, and usage.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Lead functionality discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions
• Understand the business and its challenges, functionally map a solution to the identified use cases and then develop an application using Power Platform.
• Certifications in PowerApps Professional or PowerApps Developer.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot Power Platform issues; document solutions, and work with system administrators and other IT resources to implement fixes.
• Create design solutions and document for common use case scenarios.
• Preferred Experience with Devops in Power Platform (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator)
• Develop and disseminate documentation (requirements, recommendations, technical analysis, etc.) on platform usage.
• Prepare mockups/prototypes based on requirements and use knowledge of Power Platform features/tools to offer solutions that meet business needs.
• Adhere to best practices when implementing business solutions and define/refine a governance approach for the platform’s use at VDOT.
• Participate in Agile SDLC
