Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Senior System Administrator – Microsoft Platforms to lead and support Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, and Azure solutions. The role drives governance, best practices, and project oversight, mentoring junior staff and coordinating with contractors to ensure system reliability and security across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of system administration experience.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Platforms including SharePoint, Power Platform, and Azure.
• Administration of Microsoft Platforms including policy and configuration changes.
• Experience with OneDrive data sync and sharing.
• Advanced PowerShell skills for MS platform management.
• Knowledge of ISACA and SANS frameworks.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement Microsoft 365 features for the organization.
• Promote health of Microsoft platforms; address automations, sprawl, and technical debt.
• Build solutions on SharePoint, Power Platform, and Azure to meet business requirements.
• Track development efforts in Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar; maintain a prioritized backlog.
• Champion adoption of Microsoft 365 services across the business; support citizen developers.
• Create and maintain governance policies and documentation for MS platforms.
• Develop and enforce development best practices for Microsoft platforms.
• Stay up to date on feature releases, changes, and bugs related to Microsoft platforms.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and escalate issues as needed.
• Oversee tasks assigned to junior system administrators and contractors.
