Job summary

Accenture PLC is seeking a Software Licensing Specialist to join the Software Engineering team supporting the SAM_India Ops. The role focuses on Microsoft licensing, including product terms, renewals, and cloud/on-premises licensing across global environments.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and strong communication are essential. Ideal candidates will analyze entitlement reports and usage data, read contracts, and create detailed license usage summaries.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Microsoft licensing experience or equivalent
• Ability to interpret Product Terms and licensing agreements
• Experience in renewals for Select Plus, Enterprise, and MPSA
• Strong understanding of cloud/on-prem licensing and BYOL requirements
• Analytical skills to create entitlement and usage reports
• Comfort working with global, cross-time zone teams

Responsibilities

• Create detailed license usage reports by analyzing entitlement data
• Prepare and compare entitlements to deployment data
• Read and interpret contracts, MLS, and CPS reports for detailed summaries
• Support renewals and licensing negotiations with stakeholders
• Coordinate with global teams to produce accurate license dashboards
