Job summary

Davenport Group is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, engineer, and deliver Azure, M365, and hybrid data center solutions. This role creates end-to-end cloud architectures and manages deployment and administration of systems.

Key responsibilities include deploying M365 workloads, VPNs, and hybrid AD/Exchange migrations, plus providing technical content for bids and customer evaluations. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience in client/server hardware/software environments.
• Experience with Microsoft AD/Entra ID hybrid and Exchange Online migrations.
• Strong SQL Server administration and migration knowledge (SSIS/SSRS).
• Office 365 suite knowledge with hybrid configurations and migrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and deliver Azure, M365, and hybrid data center solutions.
• Deploy M365 workloads (Intune, Defender, Teams, OneDrive, AVD) and VPNs.
• Provide technical support during sales, installation, and product support.
• Conduct demonstrations, ROI analyses, and customer evaluations.
• Develop solutions involving AD/Azure AD, Exchange, SQL Server, and Office 365.
• Design and deploy Azure infrastructure with Site-to-Site VPNs.
• Support bids and customer inquiries with technical content.
• Travel up to 20% for installations and customer meetings.
