Job summary
Apex Systems is seeking a Senior Systems Consultant for the Microsoft 365 Platform Engineering team in the Philadelphia area. This 100% onsite role focuses on leading technical guidance, training, and modernization across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem to improve collaboration and business processes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 technologies, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online.
- 5+ years of experience developing and administering PowerShell scripts.
- Experience conducting code reviews and working with version control or code repository platforms.
- 3+ years of experience leading consultations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 3+ years of experience designing and delivering technical training programs and workshops.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide consultation and guidance on Microsoft 365 applications and services.
- Meet with business and technical stakeholders to assess requirements and recommend effective solutions.
- Lead training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives for users and technical teams.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 technologies, including: SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, Power Apps, Microsoft Purview.
- Monitor upcoming Microsoft 365 feature releases, evaluate their impact, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain governance practices for SharePoint and Power Apps environments.
- Drive adoption and change management initiatives related to Microsoft 365 services and platform enhancements.
- Support technical projects as an SME and provide architectural guidance when needed.
- Create and maintain documentation, solution libraries, standards, and best practices.
- Mentor junior team members through knowledge transfer, coaching, and technical guidance.
