Job summary

Everforth Apex is recruiting a Senior Microsoft 365 Architect to lead the management and strategy of the M365 suite in a federal program requiring a Public Trust level clearance.

You will guide senior engineering staff, oversee tenant administration, and drive secure, compliant Office 365 deployments across Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive while integrating with Azure AD and Intune.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 4 years with a Master’s degree.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
• Proficiency in user and group management, license assignment, security settings, and service health monitoring.
• Identity Management experience with Azure AD integration, SSO, and MFA.
• Experience with Defender & Purview, including DLP and eDiscovery.
• Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents).
• PowerShell automation for Office 365 administration.
• Experience with Intune for device and app management.
• Active Public Trust or higher security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Office 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive) to meet org needs.
• Handle tenant administration tasks: users, groups, licenses, security, service health.
• Lead deployment of M365 Copilot, including pilot phase and rollout.
• Communicate updates and enhancements to Office 365 services.
• Oversee Microsoft Purview deployment to improve data governance and compliance (DLP, labels).
• Ensure smooth integration with Azure AD, directory sync, and MFA enforcement.
• Implement security best practices, including encryption and advanced security features.
• Use PowerShell to automate tasks and manage 365 services.
• Support developers and users with Power Platform components (Power Apps, Automate, BI, VAs).
• Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Intune for mobile device and app management.
• Develop and maintain technical docs, SOPs, and diagrams.
