Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Senior Medical Technologist – Microbiology to perform routine to complex laboratory testing and provide technical leadership for designated systems.

The role oversees maintenance, calibration, inventory management and staff training, with 100% day shift 7am-330pm and rotating weekends/holidays. A sign-on bonus may be offered, with additional weekend and evening/night differentials and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex lab testing.
• Provide technical leadership for designated systems.
• Oversee operational aspects including maintenance, calibration, performance, inventory management, training and competency assessment.
