Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Laboratory Operations Manager to lead microbiology lab teams, ensure ISO and company standards, and drive continuous improvement in quality and safety. The role requires strong leadership, robust QA practices, and hands-on oversight of testing workflows.

The position involves coordinating scheduling, training staff, and maintaining rigorous records, with focus on collaboration across functions and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a scientific field and 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a laboratory.
• Proven ability to lead laboratory personnel and align with corporate goals.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily microbiology laboratory operations, scheduling and supervision.
• Ensure compliance with ISO requirements, regulations, and Eurofins standards.
• Review test data for accuracy and compliance; apply basic statistics where needed.
• Investigate non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and verify resolution.
• Maintain authority to stop work for quality issues and reinstate operations after resolution.
• Prepare and review laboratory reports with complete records.
