Job summary

US Pharma Lab is seeking a Senior Microbiologist in North Brunswick, NJ, within the Quality Control department. You will perform enumeration testing of finished products and raw materials using compendial and rapid methods (Soleris/Biolumix) and validate methods per USP/ISO guidelines for routine analysis.

Qualifications

• MS in Microbiology or related field required; strong background in microbiology lab techniques.
• Minimum 5 years in microbiology laboratory techniques with hands-on QC experience in dietary supplements, food, or OTC manufacturing.
• Experience with rapid microbial methods and traditional culture methods is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform enumeration testing of finished products and raw materials per compendial and customer methods.
• Develop and validate methods per USP & ISO guidelines for routine microbiology work.
• Maintain GMP-compliant notebooks and records; report results with clear conclusions.
• Train staff on Soleris system and rapid micro techniques; support lab investigations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and GDP requirements.
