US PharmaLab Inc. in North Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Junior Microbiologist to assist in rapid microbial testing of finished products and raw materials, under QC supervision.

Ideal candidates hold a BS or MS in Chemistry or related sciences, have 1–3 years in a QC lab, and are familiar with cGMP/GLP, 21 CFR Part 11, and common lab software. The role requires extended hours and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

BS / MS in Chemistry or related scientific disciplines.
1 year experience in basic microbiology laboratory techniques.
Minimum of 1-3 years QC lab work experience with industry experience in dietary supplements, food or OTC manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Perform rapid microbial testing of finished products and raw materials.
Conduct Microbial Limit tests per USP and environmental monitoring.
Prepare media and perform growth promotion testing.
Record testing results in logbooks and lab software.
Identify and investigate OOS or out-of-trend results under QC direction.
Ensure compliance with safety, CGMP, GLP, and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
Support data compilation and report summaries.
