Job summary

Eagle Analytical in Houston seeks an experienced Microbiologist II to perform advanced microbiological testing within a cleanroom, ensuring strict regulatory compliance and SOP adherence.

Responsibilities include sterility, endotoxin, and particulate matter testing, equipment maintenance, data review, and contributing to continuous improvement and client-focused projects. Strong communication and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Biology or Microbiology, or a Bachelor’s with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in regulated labs (cGMP/cGLP) is preferred.
• Experience with sterility, endotoxin, and environmental monitoring.
• Strong understanding of microbiology principles and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced microbiological testing in a cleanroom environment.
• Maintain equipment, perform calibration, and troubleshoot systems.
• Review data, document results, and draft SOP updates.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 17025, cGMP, and QA guidelines.
• Support cross-functional teams and training initiatives.
