Job summary

War Child is seeking a MHPSS Senior Specialist to coordinate and enhance the implementation of Evidence-Based Methods (EBMs) across assigned clusters. The role ensures quality assurance, onboarding, guidance, and adaptive learning to translate strategy into impact across partner networks.

The position involves leading thematic integration, collaborating with MEAL, Partnerships and Operations, and supporting countries within the cluster. Strong English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in humanitarian or post-conflict contexts.
• Proven ability to design, implement and evaluate EBM-based programmes.
• Experience in quality assurance and learning cycles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cluster-level oversight of thematic quality assurance for EBM integration, implementation and scaling by partners, ensuring high-quality delivery of EBMs.
• Coordinate thematic support provided by Specialists within a cluster, ensuring prioritization, and advising on resource allocation.
• Lead adaptive learning cycles for EBMs at cluster level, documenting lessons learned and informing practice and direction.
• Strengthen organisational and partner capacity in MHPSS EBMs through training, mentoring and scalable learning.
