Job summary

War Child is seeking a MHPSS Senior Specialist to ensure effective coordination, coherence, and consistent implementation of Evidence-Based Methods across an assigned cluster. The role translates strategies into contextually relevant support for partners, oversees quality assurance, onboarding, and adaptive learning, and connects practice to strategy.

Location-based duties include supporting multiple countries and partners with capacity-building, collaboration with MEAL and other departments,

Qualifications

• Experience in humanitarian or post-conflict settings with partners.
• Strong quality assurance and learning-cycle governance experience.
• Proven ability to design and implement MHPSS/EBM guidance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cluster-level thematic quality assurance for EBMs.
• Coordinate thematic support and advise resource allocation.
• Lead adaptive learning cycles and document lessons learned.
• Strengthen capacity through training, mentoring and scalable learning.
• Represent War Child’s EBM Care System portfolio externally.
