Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior Transactions Advisor for the Federal Housing Program to lead a national MHPI deal book. Based in or near Washington, DC, you will coordinate with the Deputy Assistant Secretary, program managers, and a broad specialist bench, driving structure decisions and ensuring rigorous analyses reach senior government decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in finance, real estate, economics, or related field.
• 7+ years of real estate finance, P3/infrastructure, structured finance, or investment banking with leadership.
• Hands-on restructuring, workout, or recapitalization experience.
• Development finance experience valued, including ground-up or phased construction.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary deal teams and advisors; able to direct under deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior government audiences; US citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and run working sessions with owners, departments, lenders, and specialists.
• Develop course-of-action for transactions and frame structuring alternatives.
• Build consensus and document alternatives for decision-makers.
• Be the single point of continuity for each transaction from intake to close.
• Support intake and baseline validation with portfolio advisor; reconcile sources.
• Direct the financial modeling team’s sensitivity, pricing, and scoring work.
• Contribute to downside and risk assessment of recommended structure.
• Own the quality of the memo and briefing materials for leadership.
• Coordinate with government counterparts and project owners, including Congress notifications.
• Capture precedents and lessons learned for reuse across MHPI portfolio.
