Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking a skilled MFT Platform Administrator to ensure the day-to-day operations, security, and reliability of our enterprise file transfer ecosystem, including IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling Control Center, Connect:Direct, AWS Transfer Family, and MRAP solutions.

You will work in a hybrid environment in Minneapolis, collaborating across Cybersecurity, Cloud Engineering, Network, and Application Support teams.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in enterprise file transfer or related IT operations.
• Proven experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and Sterling Control Center administration.
• Experience supporting Connect:Direct, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2 in production.
• Hands-on knowledge of PKI, TLS/SSL, SSH, and encryption technologies.
• Familiarity with DMZ architectures, firewall policies, network routing, load balancers and DNS.
• Experience with AWS Transfer Family, S3 and MRAP cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/3 operational support for enterprise MFT platforms and ensure SLAs.
• Monitor production file transfer activities; perform root-cause analysis and drive resolution.
• Administer IBM Sterling components, AWS Transfer Family, and related MFT technologies.
• Configure and troubleshoot secure transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2).
• Perform daily ops: monitoring, alerts, capacity planning, patching, health checks.
