Job summary

Temporal, based in New York City, seeks a senior MEV research engineer to own how we understand and act on MEV. You will work on on-chain data indexing and build pipelines that answer questions about extraction, ordering, and value on Solana.

You will also run the searcher side of our order flow auction and translate insights into product decisions, with a focus on robust, verifiable analysis that ships to production.

Qualifications

• Real MEV fluency and understanding of search, ordering, auctions, and extraction.
• Strong analytical ability on large datasets; ownership of pipelines.
• Deep familiarity with Solana and related on-chain data concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own the data pipelines behind MEV and searcher analytics end to end.
• Build and extend classification for MEV on Solana.
• Design attribution and quantify extraction against our own flow.
• Monitor searcher behavior and design auction rules.
• Develop economics reporting for searcher revenue and rebates.
• Engage with the searcher network to assist integrations.
