Job summary

MLabs is seeking a senior systems engineer to design and build core real-time distributed infrastructure for MEV distribution. You will own architecture from concept to production, optimizing latency and reliability across fast-moving, high-stakes workloads.

Based in a remote-friendly role with a North America preference, you will collaborate with product and business teams to ensure technical decisions drive real economic outcomes, while shaping engineering culture and standards at MLabs.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Rust and systems programming.
• Experience building or operating real-time distributed systems with latency constraints.
• Ability to design complex systems from scratch and balance performance and reliability.
• Track record of end-to-end ownership in ambiguous environments.
• Experience with AI-assisted workflows to accelerate development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core architecture for a real-time distributed platform.
• Own systems from concept through deployment.
