Timken is searching for a Principal Process Engineer specialized in Metrology and Gauging in Canton, Ohio. This role is vital for advancing global manufacturing technology by developing and implementing metrology solutions to enhance product quality and reduce costs.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, with a minimum of 7 years' experience, especially in CMM operation and calibration. The position offers a competitive salary, benefits, and requires domestic and international travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience.
• Advanced experience with CMM operation, calibration, and maintenance.
• Experience with optical measurement methods and on-machine gauging.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy metrology and gauging solutions.
• Perform calibration and measuring uncertainty evaluation of metrology equipment.
• Lead/support capital projects.
