Qualifications

• 6–8 years of calibration/metrology/regulated-technical-operations experience.
• Experience leading teams, projects, or workstreams with accountability for delivery.
• Strong knowledge of calibration principles, measurement standards, traceability, and regulatory requirements (FDA/ISO).

Responsibilities

• Manage the Calibration Department for ~19,000 annual calibrations at a regulated medical device site.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Metrology and Calibration Services team.
• Plan, schedule, execute, document, and close calibration work per procedures and quality-system requirements.
• Maintain visibility on calibration compliance, overdue work, capacity, and service demand.
• Lead nonconformance investigations, CAPAs, audits, risk assessments, and validations.
• Ensure calibration requirements are integrated into equipment lifecycle and change-control processes.
• Develop, standardize, and improve calibration procedures, workflows, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive large complex projects and improve capability.
• Coordinate with external suppliers for new test methods and equipment; manage vendor strategy.
