Pfizer is seeking a Sr. Associate Metrologist to lead calibration, qualification and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation used for GMP testing at the GTEL ES MDCP site. You will generate documentation, maintain calibration databases, and manage vendor service contracts while supporting regulatory inspections.

The role requires strong communication, CMMS proficiency, and familiarity with cGMPs and related regulations, in a collaborative, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience, or master's with 0+ years, or an associate's degree with 6 years, or a high school diploma with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with laboratory equipment such as balances, calipers, etc.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency with a CMMS software
• Familiarity with GMPs and applicable regulations (CFR, EMA, ICH) and SOPs
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to meet timelines and maintain high-quality standards

Responsabilités

• Oversee service providers and perform calibration/validation for lab instrumentation used for GMP testing.
• Generate and review documentation supporting metrological activities and maintain records.
• Update and maintain calibration database.
• Schedule and manage calibration/maintenance service contracts with outside vendors.
• Perform/document investigations for non-conformances related to laboratory equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment and software and provide recommendations to Laboratory Team Leaders.
• Ensure compliance to the Quality Agreement between GTEL ES MDCP and other sites.
• Provide support during regulatory inspections and on-site audits.
