Job summary

Pfizer Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Calibration Specialist within Pfizer Global Supply – GTEL Laboratory Operations Center.

You will oversee calibration/maintenance for GMP testing equipment, generate documentation, and maintain calibration databases to support regulatory readiness. Responsibilities include coordinating with external vendors, investigating non-conformances, and assisting during inspections.

Qualifications

• Awareness of cGMPs, good lab practices and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service providers or perform validation, qualification, calibration/preventative maintenance for laboratory instrumentation.
• Generate/review documentation for metrological activities and maintain records.
• Update and maintain calibration database.
• Schedule/manage calibration/maintenance contracts with vendors.
• Investigate non-conformances for laboratory equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software; advise Laboratory Team Leaders and Analysts.
• Ensure compliance to Quality Agreement between GTEL ES MDCP and other sites/entities.
• Provide support during regulatory inspections and on-site audits.
