Tris Pharma, Inc. in Monmouth Junction, NJ seeks a Senior Metrologist to support analytical laboratories with calibration, maintenance and verification of instruments such as HPLC/UPLC, GC, UV-Vis and FTIR.

You will write SOPs, perform investigations, and mentor junior staff while ensuring cGMP compliance and accurate documentation. This full-time role offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Chemistry, Engineering or related field; 6+ years GMP lab experience or 8+ years instrument experience.
• Experience with FDA, cGLPs, cGMPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Hands-on metrology calibration and troubleshooting of analytical instruments.
• Experience in lab/metrology investigations.
• Experience creating or revising SOPs.
• Proficiency with Empower or equivalent software.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine calibration and instrument verification on HPLC/UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR and more.
• Document results and maintain compliant records.
• Lead investigations into calibration failures.
• Create and revise SOPs for metrology activities.
• Support change control related to analytical instrumentation.
• Train and mentor junior metrologists.
