Job summary

Valeo North America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Methods Engineer in Seymour, IN to advance automotive lighting assembly equipment and production processes.

The role focuses on developing and implementing efficient, cost-conscious methods for new and modified lighting products. The ideal candidate will bring a mechanical or electrical engineering background with 4+ years in methods/process engineering for automotive lighting, including automated equipment design, photometric aiming, plastic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 4 yrs experience in Methods or Process Engineering for automotive lighting.
• Experience designing automated assembly equipment; developing engineering processes; setting up photometric aiming, plastic welding and gluing equipment; CAD & GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Develop & design automotive lighting assembly equipment.
• Prepare & implement production processes for automotive lighting products (new & modified).
• Minimize costs and adhere to budgets; ensure timeframes are achieved.
• Attain quality objectives; mentor junior Methods Engineers.
