Job summary

Valeo Pianezza is seeking an Application Product Technical Leader to drive technical standards, architecture and discipline development for automotive lighting projects. You will collaborate with international teams, define best practices, and ensure high quality solutions for customers.

Responsibilities include leading technical reviews, coordinating requirements with OEMs, and delivering value through organized work packages across project phases.

Qualifications

• University education in engineering/technical field (mandatory).
• 3 years experience in Engineering/Project Management roles focused on automotive lighting product development.
• Fluent English and good Italian (B2 level minimum).

Responsibilities

• Be the referent in his domain, build technical knowledge and add depth to the organization; define standards roadmaps and ensure excellence.
• Lead transversal initiatives at site/group level; tailor standard processes to project needs; communicate across the Valeo Discipline Network.
• SupportValeo sites during RFQ, develop discipline requirements from stakeholders, and consolidate conflicting requirements; travel to meet OEMs/customers if needed.
• Perform technical reviews on project activities at site and group level; present progress in internal/external meetings; organize features into work packages to maximize value.
• Support Design Leaders and Project Management in discipline development planning; commit to performance of technical solutions; coach and certify technical reviewers/trainers.

As a Application **Product Technical Leader** in Valeo Pianezza you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful carmaker companies, in the electronics development working in an international and multicultural environment. **Main Activities and Mission of the role** Be the referent in his domain, build the technical knowledge & add the technical depth to the organization: Is the reference in his domain for Valeo. Capitalize best practices; Define standard's roadmaps. Ensure standard excellence. Continuously improve standards by anticipating technical breakthroughs; Lead and follow-up on transversal initiatives at site level and/or group level; Support the team leader in tailoring the standard processes based on project needs; Communicates across Valeo Discipline Network and meets the customer’s expectations in his domain. Support/provide solutions to operational entities and control and validate technical choices made by operational entities: Support Valeo sites, during competition Phase (RFQ), in the choice of technical solutions; Develop Discipline requirements by gathering different stakeholders’ requirements for complex projects, consolidating them and identifying any conflicting requirements.
