Job summary

ESi, Engineering Systems Inc., a leading forensic engineering and materials science consultancy, seeks a senior metallurgical and materials engineering expert to lead complex investigations and provide expert testimony in litigation matters.

You will oversee laboratory work, supervise project staff, and collaborate with clients and business development to expand the national practice. Travel to project sites and court appearances may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in metallurgy/moaterials science; PE license required.
• 6+ years in technical litigation consulting with metallurgy focus.
• Track record of high-quality technical reports and deposition/trial experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate complex forensic investigations.
• Oversee metallurgical lab work, site inspections, and failure analyses.
• Author and review technical reports; provide expert opinions.
• Testify at depositions and trials; present to clients.
