Job summary

Engineering Systems, Inc. (ESi) is seeking a senior metallurgical and materials engineering expert to lead complex forensic investigations and multidisciplinary projects.

You will supervise lab work, perform advanced failure analyses, and deliver high-quality reports with expert opinions for litigation and insurance matters. Role requires 6+ years in technical litigation consulting, a PE license, and strong written/oral communication.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in technical litigation consulting with metallurgy focus.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.
• Experience authoring high-quality technical reports; deposition/trial experience.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct complex forensic investigations and multidisciplinary projects.
• Oversee metallurgical lab work, site inspections, and failure analysis.
• Author and review technical reports; provide expert opinions.
• Provide testimony at deposition and trial.
• Mentor consultants and contribute to business development.
• Lead client meetings and present findings effectively.
