Intertek is seeking a Senior Metallurgist to join our Minerals team in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on Mineral Processing projects including Copper SXEW, Heap Leach, and base metal flotation, with leadership in metallurgical testing and client liaison.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mineral Processing, Extractive Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering.
• Metallurgical testing in a laboratory setting required.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.
• 7 years experience in Flotation and Leaching.

Responsibilities

• Supervise metallurgical resources and technicians; ensure tests are performed safely and on schedule.
• Assist with facility setup and layout.
• Interpret metallurgical test results for clients.
• Liaise with clients to meet project objectives.
• Prepare quotations and proposals based on client needs.
