Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Metallurgy/Material Science or Applied Engineering.
Experience in metallurgical processing, casting and refining.
Strong leadership and communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

Manage melting and post-melting processes with emphasis on in-spec chemistry and cost/risk control.
Oversee charge make-up, material validation, and weigh-up accuracy.
Control process parameters for horizontal casting and supervise machined components.
Manage PLC and HMI software, with familiarity of ladder logic.
Solve problems for customers and educate them on processes and capabilities.
Drive scrap and cost reduction, perform audits of melting, refining, casting and post-production operations.
