The role emphasizes rigorous data analysis, root-cause problem solving, and effective communication with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineering, materials science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in foundry, casting operation, or metals manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of metallurgy, materials science, and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Improve alloy performance, casting processes, and product quality from lab or shop floor.
• Support melting, casting, heat treatment, and finishing operations.
• Review customer specifications, purchase orders, and technical requirements.
• Analyze metallurgical data, microstructures, and mechanical properties.
• Troubleshoot quality and production challenges with root-cause analysis.
• Partner with operations, quality, engineering, sales, and customers to deliver solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, certifications, and customer documentation.
