MAAC is seeking an experienced Senior Fabricator to lead and assist the fabrication team in producing high-precision machine frames and components from structural steel. The role focuses on quality, accuracy, and meeting production timelines, with responsibilities including blueprint interpretation and mentoring peers.
Position is full-time on 2nd shift (3:45pm–12:15am) in Carol Stream, IL. Expect a daily mix of fabrication (80%) and welding (20%), with overtime opportunities and pay weekly.
$27.00 to $33.00 per hour (paid weekly).
$40.50 to $49.50 per hour.
MAAC is looking for a strong and experienced fabricator who could transition into a lead role. The Senior Fabricator is a full-time teammate who can lead and assist team members to meet production goals with a focus on quality and precision. The primary tasks consist of building machine frames and components out of structural steel and tearing down completed machines in preparation for painting and shipping. This person must have the ability to read complex blueprints and build high-precision components. Will follow up on assignments to assure quality standards and production timelines are met.
